How to keep your blooms fresh after you receive them

We all love getting flowers delivered to us! What a surprise it is to receive them from a friend or a loved one. But isn't it disappointing when they only last a few days.

Here is a few tips to help you keep your blooms fresh and looking lovely for more than just a few days.

1. When you receive your bouquet make sure that the water line is at the neck of the vase and if your bouquet is designed in a special floral foam keep the container

filled with water at all times.

2. Keep your water clear in your vase. When the water seems to be cloudy change out the water. You can do this simple task by running water in your vase

until it becomes clear.

3. Another way to keep your blooms looking fresh is picking up your bouquet with one hand and the other hand empty out your vase of old water, Snip your blooms

at a 45 degree angle and replace in fresh water with flower food.

4. Remove flowers as they die out and make sure there isn't any green foliage in your water. This causes bacteria in your water and causes your blooms not to last

as long.

5. By following these few simple steps you will be able to keep your bouquet looking fresh and enjoy your beautiful blooms longer.
